Color Correction Tutorial After Effects

This is how I was trained to do it in Shake but never found way to do it in AE. It would be good however to find a way to load the curve data into Color Finesse (until After Effects develops a new approach to color correction effects) so you don't concatenate color by using a 2 stage process. You have lost a lot of data by applying a curves and then a levels. You are also only in an 8 bit comp which seems like it could cause issues.

My first reaction is to find a way to do the sampling within after effects, or bring in the adjustment layer from Photoshop. Then I wonder about a script that could take that data into color finesse as a preset...
