Secugrid® Geogrid Columns Experiment
The 4 column expreiment 2010 at the Bauhaus Universität Weimar in germany.
In may 2010, engineers and professors of the Bauhaus Univers of Weimar attempted to show how simply and effectively embankments could be reinforced.
The unusual experiment left some with doubts. A2.2 ton van would be placed on four, small columns made not of concrete or steel but gravel. Ordinary gravel. But how would it holt a vehicle when this same stone could not support the weight of a man?
